Frank-Rodriguez

Francisco J. Rodriguez, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Rodriguez is a board-certified surgeon practicing at the Joint Institute of North Texas at Arlington Orthopedic Associates. He specializes in knee replacements and sports injuries. Dr. Rodriguez played basketball throughout his youth and in college (he was even drafted by the San Antonio Spurs), so he understands the types of injuries that can happen to athletes.

Dr. Rodriguez earned his undergraduate degrees at New Mexico State University and then completed his Medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His internship and his residency in Orthopedic Surgery was through Bexar County Hospital District. He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstruction at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

He trains for and competes in triathlons and has even qualified for the Kona Ironman.
