Dr. Lowry is a board-certified Fellowship-Trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction of the hip, knee & shoulder. He practices at the Joint Institute of North Texas at Arlington Orthopedic Association, P.A.
Dr. Lowry completed his fellowship at the Adult Reconstruction Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, Baltimore, MD, after completing a residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Missouri Kansas City/Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. He attended medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, NE, and earned his undergraduate degree at Creighton University, Omaha, NE.
Dr. Lowry has written several textbooks and published his clinical research in peer-reviewed medical journals. His clinical interests included direct anterior hip replacement & revision, hip replacement for active young adults, primary hip & knee replacement, complex primary & revision hip & knee replacement, osteonecrosis, periprosthetic fractures & infections, custom-fit knee replacement, partial knee replacement, outpatient joint replacement, joint preservation of the hip, knee & shoulder, arthroscopy of the hip, knee & shoulder, robotic joint replacement, and total & reverse shoulder replacement.
