Joseph Kay, M.D.
Dr. Kay specializes in non-operative management of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. He has extensive experience and training in spine disorders and pain management, including interventional procedures. His focus on sports medicine includes a special interest in injury prevention, performance enhancement and rehabilitation, with focus on successful return to activity. He has expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided injections and diagnosis.
Dr. Kay is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He received his residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas. Dr. Kay earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Kay is a team physician and sports medicine consultant for the DFW Express baseball organization. He has been the medical director for Parkland’s Camp for Burn Injured Children for over 20 years.
